Federal Government Pay Schedules
Provided below the Federal Government's general service (GS) pay schedules for 1998 through 2008. The Federal Government defines its salary schedules by utilizing a base schedule which is then adjusted for differences in the regional cost of living throughout the country by applying locality pay adjustments. Therefore, for reference purposes, both the base schedule and the Washington-Baltimore locality pay tables are shown below.
